With their many years of dive industry experience the owners established the Orca Dive Club Safaga in 1995 with only one thing in mind a completely diver friendly facility. The prime location of the centre situated in the sheltered bay of Safaga has now become much loved by all who visit. With its own private jetty directly next to the centre and excellent divesites in the bay offering calm moorings for the boats, allowing you to enjoy a relaxed diving experience.

The cosy seating area with ajoining office and bar is the centre's meeting point with easy access to all other facilities. For those guests who are staying in the Orca Village they are just a stones throw away from their basic but clean and comfortable accomadation. The neighbouring resorts of Lotus Bay, Menaville and the Holiday Inn are within short walking distance or there is always the complimentary schuttle service. With fast and easy access to Hurghada you are only 45mins from the International Airport Hurghada.

For non divers the beautiful sandy beaches offer a whole range of activities and an excellent environment for relaxing. Evenings can be whiled away under the stars enjoying a shisha (waterpipe) in one of the many beachfront bars sharing experiences with other like minded visitors.We would however like to point out that those seeking exciting nightlife will not find it in Safaga, for those wanting a bit more action we can gladly organise tours to Hurghada where an international standard of nightlife can be enjoyed.

You will find a fleet of five dedicated diving hardboats in operation at the Orca Dive Club Safaga. The highly experienced and friendly crews who have been working together with us for years guarantee to take you safely and comfortably to only the best dive sites. All boats are equipped with the neccessary safety equipment in line with international standards. You will find oxygen, first-aid, VHF marine radios, lifejackets and state of the art communication and navigational aids on-board.

Our state of the art and top of the range rental equipment which is serviced regularly in accordance with manufacturers recommendations guarantees a comfortable and safe dive. 50 complete sets of equipment are available at any given time. This also includes dedicated "Kids" diving equipment.

With over 500 steel tanks at your disposal you will never have to come up for air at the Orca Dive Club Safaga. Available tank sizes are 8, 10, 12 and 15ltr all with DIN/INT connection. In line with the Club's philosophy of "Safety First" all tanks are regulary inspected and serviced in accordance with stringent inhouse test procedures. Hydrostatic testing is conducted out of house by an international accredited inspection company.

We are very proud of our state of the art air filling system at the Orca Dive Club Safaga. With 3 Bauer KA 14 (350L/min) and a Bauer Kap 20 (600L/min) our guest can rest assured that we can deliver enough air at all times. Certified Nitrox divers receive their "Nitrox for Free" thanks to our high performance membrane filter system (800L/min). Constant inspections, servicing and air quality testing is carried out by Bauer Kompressoren Egypt guaranteeing only the purest quaility breathing air 365 days a year.

Regarded as one of the premier technical diving facilities in the Red Sea, the "Tek-Workshop" has become a one stop for everything that visiting "tekkies" require. We have three oxygen booster pumps able to supply O2/Trimix to 300bar, a full range of spare parts and accessories in stock and the expertise to match. We can handle any job, however big or small.

Your valuable dive equipment is safe in one of our three spacious dryrooms. With three large fresh water rinse tanks (one just for regs, computers and cameras) you're sure to get all the salt out of your equipment. These dedicated storage areas are well ventilated so that your gear can dry before your departure. The dryrooms are open from 8am until 6pm and remain locked at all other times.

Our open air divers bar with small boutique is the central meeting point before and after the days diving. Shaded, and with an extremely cosy atmosphere, its the ideal place to enjoy a drink, relax and share the day's exciting dive experiences.

The Orca Dive Club Safaga not only offers divers great facilities above and below water but we pride ourselves on offering our little vistors their own wonderworld. The "Kids" playground is equipped with swings, a small trampoline, wendy house, seesaw, monkey bars and a whole host of kids toys for all ages. Completly covered by a shading roof so you need not worry about harmful sun exposure. Directly next to the centre and adjacent to the beach mum and dad can rest assured that the kids won't get bored.

In our small boutique integrated into the dive centre reception you will find a large selection of holiday souvenirs. We stock a variety of T-shirts, sweatshirts/fleeces, shorts, trousers, skirts and many more accessories from the Orca collection. You will also find divesite guides and marine life identification guides available.

Guests diving at the Orca Dive Club Safaga have the centres well stocked medical room at their disposal. The medical room has a large array of bandaging, disinfecting and other medical products in stock. In the neighbouring Lotus Bay Resort there is a doctor on call 24hrs aday and in serious cases the international hospitals of Hurghada and El Gouna are easily and quickly reached.
